WHO WE ARE

Maid In YYC started in Calgary in 2008 with the intention to provide affordable, custom home cleaning and organization services.  Formerly operated as Details Details Services, it was born from an obsession and genuine excitement for all things clean, sparkly and exactly in their place.  The company was founded by Amanda Tritter, who ran the business as a solo cleaner before expanding into the boutique business it is today.  You’ll still find her running the business behind the scenes and more often than not, finding joy in cleaning and organizing anything she can get her hands on.
After more than a decade of experience, Maid In YYC has not only honed the ins and outs of cleaning and organization but has also proudly built strong relationships and a reputation for high quality of service.  We listen to your needs and approach cleaning not based on services you select but on the time it takes to complete what you’ve requested.  You’ll always have the same cleaner in your home, which means they get to know you, your space and your preferences.

We assign a Home Care Specialist to each client.  The same person will visit your house, every time.

We charge by the hour, not the service.  After all, if we clean your toilet why would we charge more to clean the inside of your fridge?!

HOW IT WORKS

We feel it’s important for us to get to know each other and for us to understand your needs before we visit your home.  We understand your home is your personal space and biggest investment.  For this reason, we don’t currently offer direct online booking.

Once you get in touch with us, we’ll reach out to chat about what your needs are along with your budget and any special requests.  

We provide all our own cleaning supplies however, we are more than happy to use specific products already in your home.

We will assign you a Home Care Specialist (HCS) based on the requested services and specialist availability. We feel that not only should the client like their assigned HCS but the HCS should also like the space they are servicing. Should either party feel it’s not a fit, we will assign a new HCS. 

Once we begin working together, we find the most efficient way to communicate with you is via text.  We keep you up to speed on the status of your clean and you can always reach out with any questions or concerns.

WHAT TO KNOW

All cleans must meet a 3 hour minimum. If more than one Home Care Specialist provides services at the same visit, rates are based on per person per hour. For example, if you book 3 hours total and 2 HCS come, it is 1.5 hours spent in the location but charged at 3 hours.

You don’t have to be home. Most clients aren’t and will arrange entrance by hiding a key or providing a door or garage code. We will hold onto any provided keys for continued services.

Do you love lists?  So do we!  Feel free to leave us a list of your preferences for that day in order of priority on the day of the clean.
